Today was the Tartan Day Parade in New York. Officially, April 6th is designated as National Tartan Day by the U.S. congress in recognition of the similarities between the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Arbroath. Festivities took place along 6th Avenue from 45th Street through 55th Street.
